I think I smell the citron the most in this scent. At 1st I thought is was alike to grapefruit , then I got the good balance of other tones. Beautiful and light scent. Look for a good deal on it though, pricing differs largely.

Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana takes their skill with fashion to the fragrance level. It is understated, light, with a citrus base and perfect for the office or for warm weather. I have given Light Blue as a gift because I have had so many compliments on it, and because I really feel it works for each kind of woman, based on her mood and where she wears it.

A long time “White Linen” fan, I find that “Light Blue” is an surprising cut above my old standard.

Buy it, enjoy!!!

I have been wearing Dolce & Gabbana for over two years now. The fragrance is wonderfull, I’m not much on strong fragrances that are overpowering so this one by Dolce & Gabbana was perfect for me. The fragrance lasts all day without fading. Use it with Gabbana lotion and you have the perfect pair!

I find this perfume to be quite interesting and like nothing else I own. I typically wear Noa cacharel, Une Fleur chanel, or Pure Grace philosophy, so I usually like a light floral scent. I was really excited about trying this when it came out, but the 1st time I smelled this from the bottle, it didn’t attraction to me, which was a surprise after hearing Oprah rave about it. The second time I thought what and put many on in the store. I found that this perfume develops into a pretty “lovely” and sensual fragrance once it has time to interact with your body chemistry. What counts is that my husband likes it on me, just to note: he didn’t like it when he smelled it straight from the bottle either. This perfume lasts a long time, which isn’t a surprise since it’s eau de parfum. If you’re thinking about it, attempt it out and see how it smells on you because that’s what really counts.

I have worn mainly green/citrus scents for years Hugo Boss Woman, Happy to Be and was happy with them. I smelled this 1st on a scent strip and has been intrigued, it had the crispness I like in the greener scents, but also a softness I have missed in my scents, an unexpected light musk richness. I have strange chemistry & most scents are dicey on me, so I tried this half a dozen times before buying, and every time I tried it, I found something new to love. I am 30 well beyond wishing to smell ‘cute’ and this fragrance is exactly what I am growing into, a scent for a sophisticated woman. It is not old, it is not young, it is mature, and equally proper with a sweater and jeans or evening wear. The only scent I annoy with anymore. I have had great success with the life of the scent I put it on at 8am and my husband can still smell it on me at bedtime but I favor that it be subtle enough that only a person standing beside me smell it, possibly many who find it short lived favor a bolder scent.

I’m thrilled with Lovely. I do not expect to change perfumes again for many years.

I saw on Oprah the intro of LOVELY with Sarah J. Parker. I ordered and wasn’t disappointed. It is feminine. It is a light scent, but it does leave one wanting another whiff. The bottle is a little difficult to hold but it is a beautiful bottle. I have worn BEAUTIFUL only by Estee Lauder for many years, but am now alternating between LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL. I do not think one could be disappointed.
