I find this perfume to be quite interesting and like nothing else I own. I typically wear Noa cacharel, Une Fleur chanel, or Pure Grace philosophy, so I usually like a light floral scent. I was really excited about trying this when it came out, but the 1st time I smelled this from the bottle, it didn’t attraction to me, which was a surprise after hearing Oprah rave about it. The second time I thought what and put many on in the store. I found that this perfume develops into a pretty “lovely” and sensual fragrance once it has time to interact with your body chemistry. What counts is that my husband likes it on me, just to note: he didn’t like it when he smelled it straight from the bottle either. This perfume lasts a long time, which isn’t a surprise since it’s eau de parfum. If you’re thinking about it, attempt it out and see how it smells on you because that’s what really counts.

I have worn mainly green/citrus scents for years Hugo Boss Woman, Happy to Be and was happy with them. I smelled this 1st on a scent strip and has been intrigued, it had the crispness I like in the greener scents, but also a softness I have missed in my scents, an unexpected light musk richness. I have strange chemistry & most scents are dicey on me, so I tried this half a dozen times before buying, and every time I tried it, I found something new to love. I am 30 well beyond wishing to smell ‘cute’ and this fragrance is exactly what I am growing into, a scent for a sophisticated woman. It is not old, it is not young, it is mature, and equally proper with a sweater and jeans or evening wear. The only scent I annoy with anymore. I have had great success with the life of the scent I put it on at 8am and my husband can still smell it on me at bedtime but I favor that it be subtle enough that only a person standing beside me smell it, possibly many who find it short lived favor a bolder scent.

I’m thrilled with Lovely. I do not expect to change perfumes again for many years.

I saw on Oprah the intro of LOVELY with Sarah J. Parker. I ordered and wasn’t disappointed. It is feminine. It is a light scent, but it does leave one wanting another whiff. The bottle is a little difficult to hold but it is a beautiful bottle. I have worn BEAUTIFUL only by Estee Lauder for many years, but am now alternating between LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL. I do not think one could be disappointed.

If you only purchase ONE cologne.,

My new obsession is with colognes and I bought all ten of the ones mentioned in “So you want to start wearing cologne” guide on amazon.Com, plus some others. They have not all arrived still, but I have to say that this cologne is awesome. It is a lighter and more cheery scent if there’s such a thing than Cool Water which is pretty dern good, and less citrusy than Tommy. The price is pretty mid range for the designer colognes and both my wife and I love it. It isn’t pretentious, more fun loving and great for all occasion wear and lasts a long time. The high notes last maybe 2 3 hours but the lingering scent is good all on own. I’m going through this much quicker than the others with Candies being a close second. If you are wanting to use up the money get this one, if you’d want to use up ten or fifteen bucks less for another great one get CANDIES which is more spicy but still awesome also. I liked this one so much that I have HUGO black BLUE on its way and look forward to reviewing it for you. Hope this helps!

Hugo Boss is certainly an interesting and yummy cologne for men. I bought Gio Armani for husband in the past. But, the price for a small bottle turned us away from it. The size of the bottle and the price makes this a great value.

One word of caution is to go easy with the total that you spray on. It’s potent. My husband usually squirts three sprays onto his neck. He started out with one spray and it’s strong. The aroma lasts all day. It’s sweet and spicey which makes it distinctive.

While I was nervous to purchase a cologne without testing it 1st, it was a no brainer after reading reviews on other websites. You won’t regret buying this cologne!

I totally love this cologne! It smells great, lasts a long time, and generally gets great compliments!

I had used this cologne some number of years ago, but had moved on to trying others since then. Other colognes smelled nice, but just were not quite of the same caliber as Hugo. When it was time to purchase a new cologne, I had to have the great fragrance again.

I’m happy I decided to purchase this one again! It was like coming back to an old friend. This fragrance is the best around, I believe. It is also priced for the 5oz. Bottle. Do yourself a favor and purchase this cologne NOW!
